Biodiversity
Biodiversity is the variety of different types of life found on Earth. It is a measure of the variety of organisms present in different ecosystems. Biodiversity is important in every biome because without it, the environment wouldn't be as stable. For example, a larger number of plants means there's a larger number of sustainable food sources for consumers. It boosts ecosystem productivity.
Negative Human Effects
The tropical grasslands and savannas have been altered by humans. Large amounts of land have been changed to farmland and it is destructive to the soil. Animals are getting over hunted and it has caused many species to become endangered. There is also a greater chance of fires spreading because of human activity. Fire is a normal part of this biome but too much can be harmful.
Solutions Some solutions might be to enforce limited hunting more and have more preserves. With more and larger preserves, there would be much more wildlife with a secured future in these biomes.
